This page now is old news but we will keep it as a project completed for any new readers. Engine 3 is now

as very proud member of our collection and made her first appearance in public at the Langley Cruise -In 2014

For our latest project look at the 1929 Bickle with the Ahrens-Fox 1140 cu in triple ignition 6 cylinder motor.

The latest arrival at the musem is a 1951 Bickle-Seagrave Canopy Cab 1000 GPM Pumper. This truck was one of four identical pumpers delivered to the Edmonton Fire Department  2 in 1950 and 2 in 1951. The Edmonton Retired Firefighters Association has one of the 1950 pumpers the other 1950's history is unknown. Our 1951 was sold to The Village of Donnaly Alberta  in 1972,the Village returned it to the ERFA in 2007, and in September 2012 the ERFA graciously passed on to us to restore and preserve for the future. The other 1951 was sold in 1972 to a Pulp Mill in Grande Prairie Alberta and now resides in The Grande Prairie Museum.

The truck is now undergoing a full restoration using various tallented people in our area.

By the end of december 2012 the truck has been stripped and all the chrome has been sent out to be rechromed and the 4 fenders have been repaired and repainted along with the hose bed dividers. We hope to sand blast the entire truck in January 2013, check back for future updates and pictures.

As of December 12 2013 Engine 3 has been delivered to her new home as one long time fire buff  said truly a beautiful piece of eye candy. Thanks to Rob and Syd White of Downtime Repairs and Greg Smith for the gold leafing.
